October Update

Abigail's first day of first grade. She seems to really like her teacher and class. She is progressing well on her reading and math skills. Has some fun friends and looks forward to going every day.

Well, the goggles keep the smoke out of their eyes. Brilliant! I bought the super sized marshmallows and they were a bit big but the kids got a kick out of them.

Our cutie Olivia. In dressups as always.

Guess who can climb up to the top of our play structure now? There's no stopping this wacko!
Painting that turned into face painting with Aunt Gail.
Girls were playing wedding the other day. Forget who was who. I think they were both brides or queens. I was the photographer.

The girls and our good friend Zoe who was visiting from Georgia.
Caraline got 'kicked' out of nursery one Sunday. She was fussy and they were understaffed. So, she came and helped out in the 3s class with me. She had a blast. Played playdough and ran around the playground with all of the big kids. This was her first coloring page - we are so proud!
Our annual visit to the Clayton Pumpkin Patch. It was a hit as always. Kids loved played in the lima beans and hay bale tunnel maze. All three girls were so dirty after the hours of play. Caraline got stung by a bee on her lip so she was looking pretty rough and pathetic.

Petting the 4-H ducks. Olivia thought the chickens, which were rather large, were dogs.

Waving at the train.
Caraline thought the pumpkins were all for riding on.
No one wanted to pose for pictures here.

Rollins and Burtchs joined the fun. Burying Olivia in the beans.

So she looks really bad in this photo. Her eyes weren't swollen just half closed, promise. We iced it and it was down back to normal the next day.
