Abigail (and the rest of her family) are participating in a Walk for Life next Saturday, May1st to raise money for Options for Women, our local crisis pregnancy center (http://www.friends-ofw.com/). We are taking donations for the two mile walk, so please email or contact us if you want to help out. Thanks!

Chuck Chuck
Our big event for the week was a Chuck E. Cheese celebration of Abigail completing two weeks without sucking her fingers at night (without the band aids and hot pepper finger nail polish that we have been doing for months now). She was able to pick out any place to eat beforehand and chose Digger's Diner, where we have been twice before. It's a biker frequented diner that's also pretty much family friendly, with the exception of some of the artwork (a huge mural of cars, a graveyard, and rather busty waitress - not sure how it all goes together). Then, we headed off to to Chuck Chuck as Abigail has been calling it and played lots of games. It was funny to watch her with the sensory overload. She almost couldn't finish a game because she wanted to go to the next thing so quickly (Jeremy likened it to a drug addict). She did like some of the driving games and Olivia was able to enjoy some of the fun too. We had a lot of fun and hopefully it means we are done with thumbs! It did make some impression because this was her prayer the next morning at breakfast: God thank you for daddy being able to work so that we can have money to go to chuck e cheese. I know that Bangladesh girls don’t have chuck e cheese or starbucks. And thank you for my food. Amen.
Olivia's hair was thoroughly greased up from an avocado and french fries.
Abigail having fun on some of the rides.
Olivia enjoying another ride (talking and driving with her play cell phone). Abigail was fairly zeroed in on this driving game.
This is the new use for our ball popper. We now have two since I had called Hasboro because I wanted to know if ours was broken since the motor had stopped blowing balls. We had already exchanged one because of that problem. Anyways they just sent me a new one and I didn't have to send them the old one back or show my receipt which was great! This one works a lot better and the girls love it.

Towards the end it was getting past Olivia's bedtime and she was falling asleep in the carrier. This was after we had let her crawl around Chuck E Cheese (yikes what were we thinking) but she was obsessed with getting down and since she's the second child we let her. I am really ready for her to start walking so that she gets off the ground! Park days have become much harder (meaning I actually have to watch a kid now) because she loves to eat rocks and old food/bark/anything she finds off the ground now.
Here are some videos of the funness:
Here's one of Abigail's latest drawings. The top box is a TV and the bottom boxes are pillows and the green background is grass. Our sweet neighbors Mary and Jack were the recipients. As Abigail usually gets candy when she goes over there, I think that's at least a partial motivator for the frequent visits. That and the fact that they proudly display her artwork in their front window so that we see it everyday when we go by.

April 2010
Here's a rare family photograph taken this past Easter. Guess we all kind of dressed alike, but it wasn't planned. We had a great day together, celebrating Christ's resurrection with about 20 of our friends at our house. We got in a quick egg hunt and lunch before the rains came and sent everyone running for cover. Everyone except Abigail that it, who thought this was the perfect opportunity to play outside in her swimsuit (see below). That Thursday before Easter Abigail had a buddy over to dye eggs. They each decided they loved eating them too and polished off 5-6 between the two of them that day.
These past few Saturdays we have been birthday partying it up. Abigail loved putting on the hats from one of the parties on her sister. The second picture is Olivia showing off the beautiful jacket a friend's mom knitted for her. She was mostly obsessed with trying to eat the button.
Abigail spent the night at Zoe's house last week and they had a fancy breakfast which I attempted to recreate last Saturday morning. All I heard from Abigail was that this didn't taste like Miss Jen's "sugar pan pakes" (that's how she says pancakes).
